As puppies mature into adolescents, they have more energy as well as more confidence and curiosity about the world "out there". This can also be when breed specific tendencies emerge or just get stronger. Hounds can no longer hear you when they are following a scent; herding breeds are chasing, nipping and circling, guardian types are barking at everything. 

I'll help you layer on the reinforcement for responding to you, rather than the environment. We'll find ways to transition from food reinforcers to fun and games designed with your dog's desires in mind.

A prerequisite to this package is completion of the Fairy Tales and/or the Tall Tales Early Learning, unless comparable skills are determined at the Initial Consult.

A MYSTERY
behavior modification

Some dog behavior can be frustrating and it's essential to reach out for help. Fear, aggression, and separation anxiety will overwhelm any dog (and their owner), even an otherwise well-behaved one. It may show up in public, or in the vet's office, or at times you don't understand. 

Dogs can also be challenged by new situations such as a move or a new family member (any specie!).

Together we will discuss what your goals are and what it will take to get there. I will design a plan accordingly, beginning with practicing skills in a safe space. Those lessons will be virtual. Then I will accompany you to a scaled down version of your destination for some in-person coaching.
